Terms of Use

Effective date: 14 August 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Digital PavtiBook (the “Service”), operated by Kunal P Kadam (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

Digital PavtiBook is a digital donation-receipt tool for temples, trusts, NGOs and festival mandals (“Organisations”). Organisations and the collectors they authorise can record donations and generate receipts. Donors can look up a receipt using the receipt number/link shared with them.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to create an Organisation or Collector account.
  • An Organisation is responsible for the collectors it authorises and for the accuracy of the information it provides about itself.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate an account that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently, abusively, or in violation of these Terms.

3. Accuracy of donation records

Donation amounts, donor names, and payment details are entered by the Organisation’s collectors, not verified by us against any external source. We provide the tools to record, correct (within the Service’s own rules), and audit these records, but we are not a party to the underlying donation transaction and are not responsible for disputes between an Organisation and a donor about the correctness of a record entered by the Organisation’s own staff.

To protect against tampering, once a receipt has been delivered to a donor it becomes difficult to alter: further changes create a visible, audit-logged correction rather than silently overwriting the original record. This exists to protect both Organisations and donors, and you agree not to attempt to circumvent it.

4. Fees and payment

Some features of the Service may require payment of a subscription or one-time fee, shown on our Pricing page. Payments are processed through our payment gateway partner (Razorpay). By making a payment you agree to that provider’s own terms in addition to ours. See our Refund Policy for how refunds are handled.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to record fraudulent, fabricated, or misleading donation entries.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to another Organisation’s or Collector’s account or data.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service or attempt to bypass its security or audit controls.
  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable law, including laws governing charitable donations, financial record-keeping, or data protection.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Kunal P Kadam. You retain ownership of the donation data you enter; you grant us a licence to store, process, and display that data solely to operate the Service on your behalf.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. While we work to keep it reliable, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, including during offline periods, maintenance, or events outside our reasonable control.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kunal P Kadam shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, loss of donations records due to factors outside our control, or disputes between an Organisation and its donors or collectors. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or donation records you or your collectors enter.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any account that violates these Terms, with notice where practicable.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Thane, Maharashtra. Before initiating legal proceedings, please contact us via our Grievance Redressal process so we can try to resolve the issue directly.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will update the effective date above; continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
